Location/Facility:        Lejeune Hall - United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland. Indoors 10 lane 50-meter pool, non-turbulent lane lines, eight-foot constant depth facility.  A continuous warm-up/warm-down area will be available during the meet when appropriate supervision is provided by the swimmer’s coach/club.

Eligibility:                   Open to all USA Swimming registered swimmers with NAAC, FAST & CBAC

Rules:                         Applicable USA Swimming rules shall govern this competition.  Maryland Swimming rules shall also apply.  The meet director reserves the right to limit entries.  USA Swimming / MD Swimming Safety Guidelines and Warm-up Procedures will be in effect for the entire meet.  No one will be permitted in the competition area unless he or she is registered with USA Swimming as a coach, an athlete or an official working at the meet.  The only exception will be for timers and administrative staff assisting with the conduct of the meet. All coaches and officials must display their 2003 credentials while on deck. 

No-Recall Procedure:  The no-recall rule will be in effect. (USA Swimming Rule 102.14.4H)

Entry Information:      Entries should be submitted on computer disk (3 ˝ high density HD preferred) for clubs with the HYTEK MEET MANAGER software.  Computer entries must be accompanied by hard copy printout and individual computer entry sheets, submitted with club’s meet entry.

Please enter with LONG COURSE METER TIMES. “No Time,” i.e., “NT” entries also will be accepted.

Entry Deadline:           The Meet Entry Chairperson must receive all entries by Wednesday June 11, 2003. Entries must be accompanied by one check or money order from each team (do not send cash) payable to: NAAC.

Entry Limits:             Swimmers may enter a maximum of 4 individual events, plus two relays.  The All Age relay must contain one swimmer of each age group (10&U, 11/12, 13/14, 15&O).    

Entry Fees:               $ 2.00 per individual event. $ 5.00 per relay event.  Each club is requested to remit one check for the entire team’s entries.  Please make checks payable to: “NAAC.”  Do not send cash.

Awards                      High Point award will be given to the top 3 swimmers in each age group for their total time in all four individual events. 

Timing:                     All events will be timed by a Colorado Electronic Timing system with a two-button back up and two watches.

Results:                    Meet results will be available for download or printing from the Maryland Swimming website (http://www.mdswim.org/results.htm) within 48 hours after the meet.  Teams submitting entries on computer disk can receive their disks back with meet results 60 to 90 minutes after conclusion of the meet.

Concessions:             A WIDE VARIETY OF FOOD AND BEVERAGES WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM A MEET CONCESSION STAND.

Programs:                 Meet programs covering all sessions will be available at a nominal cost.

Attire at USNA:        AT THE REQUEST OF THE UNITED STATES NAVAL ACADEMY, SWIMMERS   MAY   NOT   LEAVE   THE   POOL   DECK   WITHOUT APPROPRIATE ATTIRE.  APPROPRIATE ATTIRE DEFINED: “SHOES, SWEATS (TOP & BOTTOM), or SHIRT and PANTS or SHORTS.”

Directions:                From Baltimore Beltway (I-695):  I 97 South to RT 50 East, Annapolis

                                 From Washington Beltway (I-95/495):  RT 50 East to Annapolis

                                 From the Maryland Eastern Shore:  RT 301/50 West to Annapolis

                                 From Southern Maryland: RT 2 or RT 301 North to RT 50 East to Annapolis

                                    1.  Exit RT 50 at Exit 24, RT 70 South, Rowe Boulevard. After the 2nd traffic light, use the left lane.  When Rowe Blvd. Ends at the State Capitol Bldg., turn left on College Ave. Follow the detour signs, as there is construction before you reach the State Capitol Building.  Turn left on College Ave. Turn right at the traffic light onto King George Street; proceed slowly into the United States Naval Academy through Visitor’s Gate #1.  Please remember that the USNA is a Department of Defense facility, where federal parking and speeding tickets are issued.
