Information for Officials

Officials Uniform: Prelims - White Polo shirts, Navy Blue shorts/pants/skirts, White shoes/socks; Finals - White Polo shirts, Navy Blue pants/skirts, White shoes/socks.

Rooms for Officials will be available on campus for $65 per person per night. The rooms are in townhouse type dorms across from the pool, 2 to a room in 2 rooms/1 bath suites. Meals in the dining facility are included. You must bring your own bedding and towels. All local hotels are booked for other events, so the host has negotiated the rooms deal for swimmers and officials with the college. Please send Michael Downs your room request (name/nights/roommate) ASAP.

Officials at all positions will be required for this meet.

Officials must have been certified for a year in the positions in which they are planning to work.

Applications for assigned positions (Referee, Starter, and Chief Judge) must be submitted to Jamy Pfister, EZ Officials Chair (jamy.pfister@gmail.com) no later than July 9, 2007. Applications to Officiate are available on the meet web site (http://www.cbacswimming.org/SuperSectionals2007/), the EZ web site (http://pvswim.org/eastzone/future_meets.htm), or from your LSC Officials Chair.

Applications for non-assigned positions must be submitted to Jamy Pfister, EZ Officials Chair (jamy.pfister@gmail.com) no later than July 15, 2007. Applications to Officiate are available on the meet web site (http://www.cbacswimming.org/SuperSectionals2007/), the EZ web site (http://pvswim.org/eastzone/future_meets.htm), and from your LSC Officials Chair.

Officials who learn of their availability after July 15, 2007 should send an application to Michael Downs, Meet Referee (mhd@cox.net). Walk-ons will be welcomed for S&T Judge positions.

This meet has been approved as an Officials Qualifying Meet for N2/N3 Certification/Re-Certification. Evaluations will be available for all positions, including N3 Final for Chief Judge, Starter, and Referee. Officials desiring to be evaluated MUST also complete a Request for Evaluation and submit it to Michael Downs, Meet Referee (mhd@cox.net), no later than July 15, 2007. Requests for Evaluation are available on the meet web site (http://www.cbacswimming.org/SuperSectionals2007/) and the EZ web site (http://pvswim.org/eastzone/future_meets.htm).

Briefings will be held 1 hour prior to the start of each session. Attendance at these briefings is required to work the session and be evaluated.
